I watched this on a flight to Pittsburgh this week. I thought it was funny and enjoyed it. It could have used more Will Ferrell though.

It had some funny parts, but overall it was just extremely boring and predictable. Every movie with those two in it has the humor-halting, "sure we're fuck ups, but we're likable fuck ups, and that's what life is about, so let's go out there and save Christmas" type of lecture. We'll, this movie has about 4 of those from each guy. The first 30 minutes were heavy on the funny, and then it was spread thin. Worth the rental if you are out of other options and you go in with low expectations.

This review reads like Chris Farley in a van down by the river.

I watched this a few weeks ago when I was out of town. It was meh... Worth a free watch but I wouldn't have paid for it.

I watched it yesterday. Jared's assessment was spot on, which is staggering, since he usually has no idea what is going on in movies.

I agree. A few really funny moments, in particular the Professor Xavier part, but overall It lost my interest after a while.
