Never mind a few cruise missiles or jamming a few nukes down that inter dimensional opening.
True facts. A tomahawk can hit a chalkboard from 1000 miles away. That said, I'll still watch this mess.

It can make a better movie.
Now shut the fuck up, no one is going to see this movie for realism.

Long ago, legions of monstrous creatures called Kaiju arose from the sea, bringing with them all-consuming war. To fight the Kaiju, mankind developed giant robots called Jaegers, designed to be piloted by two humans locked together in a neural bridge. However, even the Jaegers are not enough to defeat the Kaiju, and humanity is on the verge of defeat. Mankind's last hope now lies with a washed-up ex-pilot, an untested trainee and an old, obsolete Jaeger.

Good scores on rotten tomatoes and an 8.0 in IMDB.

I did, to me, it was an anime in fast forward. They put way to much in, and didn't give you enough time to take it all in. The concept of the two pilots, kinda made sense. The movie needed to be longer, or take more crap out. If you want to see some bad ass robots fighting dinosaur monsters then go see it.

It was what I expected it to be, and more. It was an awesome monster vs robot movie, with enough plot to keep it from being retarded.

I love living at a time where the things that had to be restricted to cartoons/anime/comics is finally able to make it to the big screen.

I enjoyed it. Just take it as a good ol' action flick with ass-kicking robots and monster fighting. I found the humor was well placed and I enjoyed Idris Elba character. Special effects were top-notch. Normally, something will clue in to me it's CGI during a movie, but that never happened watching this, I was thoroughly absorbed in it.
