  • Rush AAC tonight

Taking my step son for his first big show. He's seen some other acts (Joe Bonamassa, Derek Trucks) but at much smaller venues.

This should be a good show. Its been many years since I have seen them.

Ticket prices were way too much this time around. Have fun and enjoy the new tunes! They rock if you haven't heard any of them yet.

      I'm jelly too.

I've already done this as well. It was a Evening with Rush, iirc. I went to that but Vapor Trails was my last tour concert to see them.

Boss left work about around five. Found out just before he left that he's going. Really jelly now.

We got to talking and he's been a fan for long while -- first saw then in 81 on the Moving Pictures tour. Didn't know he liked them. Hopefully he surprises me with a t-shirt since I forgot to ask him to pick one up for me.

That was the setlist they played last night. Absolutely great show as expected but was and always blown away on how much sound they can produce. Geddy's voice can't quite get to the top end like it once could but at 59 I'll cut him some slack. Alex and Neil however have not lost a thing.
The video board and effects were a great addition and were very entertaining to see the band morphed into little trolls in a comedic part of the show on screen. They have a great sense of humor which was evident in some of the clips seen on the screen.
They were filming the show for an upcoming DVD release-bonus!

My step son who only knows a few of there songs was blown away. The new 'album' has some serious rocking songs.
