I really like it.. i grew up watching BSG and really enjoyed the new series.. i was dissapointed in Caprica.. it had a lot of potenial but every time it looked like it was going to start getting good it didnt.

Yeah I couldn't get into it. I didn't understand what the hell the point of the series was. The first episode was some young girl in a club hanging out with girl friends using magical powers, wtf?

it was an origin of the cylons story.
the chick was his daugher who got "killed" and transfered into a cylon basically.. but then they brought in the "matrix" style cyber world and it got a little to much.

i think it had HUGE potential but went no where.

I don't know if you could ever top BSG '04. It was incredibly written, directed, and just epic. We need more action packed Science fiction out there, and less emotional slow stuff. BSG succeeded because it was awesome, but probably a little too expensive for SyFy to handle. I'd love to see a new high budget BSG movie. But what I really want is a new Star Trek TV series.

I just finished watching the first 4 and I wish this was a series not just a movie.

I keep hearing good things about Firefly, but I've been avoiding it on netflix because it's only 1 season, didn't want to get caught up in a show that never gets finished.

From what I have read they are releasing 4 or 5 on the web and then the series is starting up in a couple of months. I will see if I can find a link.

So true, BSG was a great series and it had a great run. This has a lot of potential although from what I understand it's towards the end of the Cylon war so it couldn't possible last to long. There really needs to be another quality SciFi show on and I'm hoping they do something with this instead of just a made for TV movie.

It's not your ordinary SciFi with it's mix of Western feel to it. Although it only lasted a year it's worth a watch along with the movie.

Whoa whoa, wtf? Blood and chrome episodes were actually released? I know SyFyget declined to produce a series, so I guess they finally coughed up the pilots?

I like it so far. Which says a lot. I kind of wish they had developed Adama a little more before just sending him off on this ultra secret missions. Seemed gratutious. But those are the breaks when you are dealing with a web series that has to suceed right off of the bat. I love the fact that the show is centered around the war rather than the Galatica just running.

Caprica was an oddball show that was attempting to explain how the cylons came to be. It had its high points but you really had to pay attention, it was labor intensive to which is probably why it failed.
