          I enjoyed it thoroughly. As one poster mentioned before, it really was kind of like ET if it ET didn't suck. I would go as far to say it's the best movie of 2011 so far.

                I dont know where the hell you guys go to the movies, but its not $5.00 for ANY movie at ANY time. Maybe in the hood in Irving or out in bumfuckedegypt, but in Allen, its $9.50 and 10.50 regular price and it might have went up since I last saw True Grit a few months ago...

                        Oh I know, we went to see the Hangover II at the Galaxy last week, two movies, 4 people, just about everything on the menu and it was $36.00.

                          Went and saw it at Imax (yeah $$$ but we splurged for once) Saturday and I thought it was a great movie all around. It was a bit slow starting out but not overwhelmingly slow but then picks up pretty quick.

                            Just got back from watching it. Like Lason mentioned it does start off slow but it picks up. I can see the spielberg influences in this movie. Great homage to all the sci-fi movies we all grew up with. I liked the Romero nod. I wasn't disappointed.

                              I'm too young to recognize the E.T.-phone-home-ness of it, but even so, I liked it a lot. They kept it really simple and the kids were awesome.
