Zombie tower to the moon!" Having slept on it, I can say that the film would've worked a little better as presenting itself as a one-shot character profile from the book, rather than the re-imagining it is. Oh well. It was still all right, and I'll watch it again at some point, I'm sure. This Is The End was way better.
Really? I heard bad things about This is the End. Probably wait to download/rent that one. Ya I didn't like the whole collective working together thing. OK I can maybe get the biting and not eating aspect of it. I can understand the fast zombie part of it. But not the climbing as a group part.

Probably a spoiler here but how where they letting the Palestinians in without letting in zombies?

there was a massive disconnect between the script and the effects. trying to explain otherwise creates holes in the plot, like how the zombies can smell death and not the living

I paid 12.50 for 3d. Definitely not worth it. I don't recall any '3d' aspects. 5 buck matinee is what i think its worth. And I couldn't get over some of the logistical plot holes as well.

But the little things on how he defends himself against zombies were a nice change to see compared to other zombie movies.

Where the hell is there is a $5.00 matinee?!

It's $6.50 in up in Plano/Allen/Frisco and you better get there at 10:00am, the rest are only a dollar off @ $8.00/$8.50

The successful debut of the zombie apocalypse tentpole marks the actor's biggest box office opening to date and could put him at the helm of his own studio franchise.

              The sequel is a go

$6 (could have sworn it used to be 5.50) for any showing before 1pm at the west Plano cinimark, best time for a quiet audience is Sunday morning.

I read on the net that this movie has to make $500m at the box office just to break even. What a cluster fuck they had making this movie

I went to go see this today. I won't give any spoilers away, but the power went off in the whole building at a pretty climatic time in the movie. It was kind of freaky.

I don't claim to be a tough guy. I'm a kid with an over active imagination.

                            • Saw it last weekend. There were a lot of homages to the book but most of them were quick and you had to be paying attention (like the nukes going off between India and Pakistan). Not nearly as good as the book was, but I thought it was still a pretty good movie, and one of the better zombie movies. It is not an action movie, by the way. I think it will end up being a good series when they finish the story with part 2 (or 3 if they are doing a trilogy). The movie vs the book kind of reminded me of Jurassic Park (though the JP book and movie still blow WWZ away). They both had the same basic plot, but ended up being different stories.

I still think WWZ on film would have been a better if HBO or AMC had done a mini series that was exactly like the book, with each interview being an episode, but at least this wasn't another remake or prequel.
I don't like Republicans, but I really FUCKING hate Democrats.

Truth. It sucked compared to the book. Most movies do but this one really gagged on it.
