      I bet it will get treated like Water World, that movie didn't stand a chance. Was it amazing? No, did it deserve the bashing it got? IMO, not at all.

                Don't go into this movie thinking it's an action flick, it's not. With that being said, I never finished reading all of the book. I had read that this movie strayed away from it. It's good for what it is but not great. There were some minor plot issues that bugged me about the zombie outbreak. Like someone else had stated it had that District 9 meets I am Legend vibe. The ending left me wondering why they re-shot the last 45 minutes. I walked out with more questions than answers. See it at your own risk.

                  Just got home from this. I liked it, but I had no preconceived ideas about it. All I knew was it was a novel and it had some form of zombies/ undead.

                  As idrivea4banger said it's not an action flick and unless you're a very unobservant movie watcher you will pick up on things just as they are about to happen. Still some unexpected things thrown in to make you jump (no shock there) but I felt like I was picking up on what was going on a little faster than Gerry was. Don't know if that was intentional on the part of the writing or not because you are following him almost the whole movie so it's not like you are getting info from story bits he's not in.


                  Overall I would say it was a good movie, but not one that would make me go back to the theater and watch it a second time. I will however stop to watch it again if it came on TV and I saw it.

                    This movie has a 68% rating on rotten tomatoes meanwhile man of steel is at 57%........I don't get it.

                      It was decent for a zombie movie. I still hate the runner/super strength type of zombies but whatever. It is way better than the straight to dvd crap that has been coming out lately. If only I could direct one of these.....

                            You don't remember the sprinting armless asian zombie at the mall? That's as fast as a human could get I would presume. I really liked the atmosphere on that movie, really wish they would make another.
