Watched it last night, and fast forwarded through most of it. I enjoyed a lot of KS's movies but I can understand why this one got such bad reviews cause it just didnt work.

I'm really surprised at how much Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back did in the theater. I don't regard it as one of the stronger films. Maybe I need to watch it again sober.

I think a lot of the reason it got bad reviews was because people went into it expecting to either be a horror movie based on some of the previews, or a politically toned anti-right wing movie. It didn't give the anti right message most assumed he was going for, based solely on the title, and I think that really led to a lot of negative reviews.

It's all from Wiki - look up each movie by itself. I like most of his movies, but not enough to fabricate box office numbers for a forum post.

Can you post each individual link?

I checked. The information for each movie is literally copied and pasted from wiki.

The end reminded me of Burn After Reading.

You're talking about how much you don't like a movie that you didn't watch most of? Oh, okay.

It's a little better after multiple watchings, but not by much. The saving grace is it has so many characters from other movies, and people playing multiple characters that they played in different movies.

Yep because you can watch those horrendously long monologues in seconds vs 10-20 minutes. The audience is smart it doesnt need a badly done sermon to establish the movie and character(s)

The first real action is about 25 min which is about the same time KS pulls off some low dollar special effects while he is trying to set the movie up as a horror movie. After about the the first 1/3 of the movie it gives up that approach and moves into becoming a lackluster drama staring John Goodman as a not so believable federal agent

It lacked the quirkiness and intellectual quality of KS's earlier work
