i mean come on, no steam power, or coal, wind power? a little far fetch, but ill play along for a while
This is what my wife said. I just tried to go along with it.

I guess folks forgot how to read a book to learn how to generate electricity

I thought It was ok. Nothing really special. Just ok. Obviously if it was on hbo, it would be much more interesting.

I thought it was pretty good. Didn't knock my socks off, but it was worth watching. Decent swashbuckling action, and flawed as it may be, I find the premise interesting. Overgrown Chicago was pretty cool.

I think the point is, the physics that allow for electricity to function have changed. Except for when that James Avery pendant is around, that is.

So far, the show is reminding me of "The Postman", but with the magic USB stick.

So...they are using flintlocks...despite the fact that CJ can manually ram out 40 jabillion rounds using a manual reloader.

I saw we create the republic of DFWMustangs and use AR-15's to dominate the sissy Flintlock boys.

I'm enjoying this show. Seems to be getting good ratings, so it might be around for a while.

I am not too critical on stuff, for the most part there seems to be a few story lines within I might be interested in.

The USB thing is honestly stupid as hell, I sure hope they have some descent explanation to this in the upcoming episodes.

I honestly watched this show in disgust.... Magic USB? Never heard of steam power? Old Diesel engines? Black powder rifles?

Also, when the planes were falling out of the sky their lights were still on....

I got the 2nd one dvr'd to watch tonight...

I liked this one a little better, purely for the freedom of arms argument

                    LOL! In!

We gotta have a passcode or something to identify each other since, you know, we won't have the internets to hook up with.

Watched the pilot last night finally. Have many opinions about it. Will only list a few main points.

The power going out scene was kinda visually cool. Plane lights flickering/ falling out of sky.

Seeing everything ran down and grown over sure did remind me of Life After People show. The scene where Charile see's (Nate??) by water sure looked like a set used in The Walking Dead.

I only want to watch it to find out why and how power was taken out of the laws of physics and whats up with the "algebra teacher".
                        Some cars and a bike...

Some say... they have been raced, some a lot

The black guy who took the kid looks oddly like Obama, he's also from Chicago, and used to sell insurance. Made me lol

I thought the same thing. It looked alot like where they used to clean their clothes in season 1 of the Walking Dead.

That scene screamed the same thing to my wife and I.

Just saw the last episode and the series is getting alot more interesting now.

Apparently NBC picked up the show for a full season.
