Just got done watching it; not bad. 3d wasn't overwhelming like some movies try to do. Just about everything was better than the last series, and had a lot less cheezy moments.

yup.. i liked it.. a little more Dark and Angst filled thatn the Toby Maguire ones.. but toby always seemed like a Bitch to me.. the new guy did it right IMO2016 250 Mini dozer

We watched it yesterday. I dunno, I am still on the fence about it. People have to understand it is another origin story. Which is going to make It boring for most the guys looking for action. I don't really care for the darkness of it really. Spiderman was never a really dark comic. It was written campy and goofy for the most part early on. It's kinda what made spiderman so lovable. I am 30 years old and don't really care to.see the teenage angst angle. Especially in today's cinema were classics are being turned into twilight fluff. Like what MTV has done to Teenage Wolf. You can't help but compare this to the Sam Rami predecessors, and I'm sorry, but they were FAR superior IMO. Don't get me wrong, it was a very watchable, and at times fun movie. I laughed out loud a few times. But all the major plot points seemed very weak compared to the original. The writing wasn't great. The cinematography didn't really go very many places the original didn't. It was a good movie, but I guess aside from large stacks of cash I just don't get why it was even made. I guess that is the only excuse needed though. It wasn't anything innovative or... Amazing. I'd wait until dvd unless you just have to see it. Glad I caught a matinee.Comment
