Holy shit, looks like 2 of my all time favorite books will finally (hopefully) be done justice this year. Directed by Buz Luhrmann(The Fifth Element) and starring Leonardo DeCaprio and Toby McGuire.

Why are they touting the 3d version of this? Really, would you pay damn near double the price to see confetti fly in your face?

3D is a joke. I accidently saw avengers in 3D. Movie was awesome nonetheless. But felt like i payed way more than i should of..

I don't think I'll bother with this in 3D. In fact, I've only seen 2 movies in 3D since all this new interest in it: Avatar, and The Avengers. I really wasn't big on seeing the Avengers in 3D, but I wanted to see it in IMAX and that was the way the theater was set up.

So out of curiousity I just looked it up and this will be the fifth time The Great Gatsby has been made into a film. Depressing really, I guess we will just get a new version every 20 years or so.
