Test for Echo, Vapor Trails, and Snakes and Arrows have been pretty bad, and I don't have much hope for a concept album entitled "Clockwork Angels". That said, the greatness extended into the early 90s I guess.
Edit: And say what you feel about Holy Your Fire, but for some reason Time Stands Still rocks my face lol.
Hey, I like Tai Shan, so I don't have much room to criticize.
How do we forget ourselves? How do we forget our minds?
My first concert was Hemisphere's tour at TCC in 77. I still consider them one of my all time favorite bands and have stuck with them through the years- although some of it not my style (synth years). I'll probably go and turn my step son on to some good music.
Check out the documentary 'Beyond the Lighted Stage' if you haven't already

First concert was Hemispheres? You're a lucky bastard!

Hemispheres was released in 1978. Perhaps the Farewell to Kings tour?

lmfao @ 300 smacks to see Rush. I think when I saw them for the 2112 tour it was $15.00, lol!

Damn! I didn't know you were that old! I was 16 when that album came out, but didn't see them until the "Permanent Waves" tour a couple of years later. One of the best I've ever been too, even after 30+ years.
I saw them in 79 or early 80, the show in Dallas was sold out so I went to the Tarrant CC by myself, lol! Best show I ever saw. Actually at the time it was my first show I ever saw. I was already into Rush and went to every show until the late 90's.
I'm still into them but Im not paying that much to see them. 2112, Hemispheres, Permanent Waves and Grace Under Pressure are my favorite albums, Signals was cool too.

Everything but Power Windows and Hold Your Fire were cool albums.

Freind got two (119), but the best i could get was sec 116 and at 105 per ticket i passed.
I hear ya. I had a chance to get 2 in the 7th row of section 14 (the second section on the floor back from the stage), but I got greedy trying to get something better and lost out on them. I'm going to call my ticket broker friend tomorrow and see what he has.
