Ive seen them so many times its not even funny. It all started with the 2112 tour and it ended with the Presto tour. I did see them a couple of more times with the Counterparts and Roll the bones tours. And I also got a free ticket to the Vapor Trails tour, hadn't seen them since.

Rush - Greatness began in the mid 70s and ran out in the late 80s
Chili Peppers - Greatness began in the early 80s and ran out in the mid 90s.
An odd, 30 year continuum those two exist in.
Aside from the synth years from Power Windows and Hold Your Fire, Rush's greatness continues. Well, maybe I'll cede Test for Echo just because "Virtuality" is just THAT bad.
How do we forget ourselves? How do we forget our minds?

Test for Echo, Vapor Trails, and Snakes and Arrows have been pretty bad, and I don't have much hope for a concept album entitled "Clockwork Angels". That said, the greatness extended into the early 90s I guess.
Edit: And say what you feel about Holy Your Fire, but for some reason Time Stands Still rocks my face lol.
