This movie was the best horror film I have seen. It was absolutely fantastic and wasnt screwed up at the end with some cheeziness. it was fun and full of quick little surprises to keep you on the edge of your seat. I dug the shit out of it.

I watched it yesterday in an empty theatre. I kept looking over my shoulder because the sounds from the movie were throwing me off. It was more of a mind fuck for me. There were moments where it scared the shit out of me but towards the end I was sitting there in suspense. I haven't watched a movie that had me like that in a very long time. Yeah, it was a great movie. Far better than I had hoped or imagined.

i watched it in the theater and it was pretty damn good! i wish the ending was a little different but it is still very worth a trip to the movies

Edit don't leave the van. Setup a perimeter as best you can arm yourselves with whatever weapons you can find and no one sleeps unless you have enough people to make that possible. You sure as fuck don't go venturing into buildings where you just saw some "hills have eyes" type people.

This movie suuuuuuuuucked! The worst episode of The X-Files was better than this. First 30-40 minutes were interesting, then it just falls off a cliff into bullshit. This is why I almost never watch horror movies. And to whoever wrote the movie, even though the Ukraine is commonly referred to as "European Russia" it is still on the continent of Asia. Idiots.

I was hoping for a 6, I'd give it a 2. The last thirty minutes were just running, screaming, and one character after another getting picked off the same way. They had a lot of opportunities to expand on several aspects of the disaster and come up with just some modicum of a decent story, and couldn't even do that. I wasn't expecting American Beauty, but I was hoping for at least some sort of brains in the writing. This was just run of the mill cliched horror movie 101.
