They used to be on another channel (I think outdoor) as Duck Commander. It was funny too and showed them shooting the shit out of ducks every week. Guess that is to much for A&E. They were funny on that one but it downplayed how rich they really are and actual hunting and shooting

I have not seen Buck Commander, but according to a friend, it's about nothing but them hunting, and doesn't really have much to do with the business/family. He says it's still on also.

They all play it up for the camera, but it's not too outrageous imo. Apparently, Si is like that all the time. Stupid, and crazy. Apparently he isn't acting at all. Fucker cracks me up. I can't believe one of them was drafted to the NFL, and didn't go because it interfered with hunting season. lmao

Its all staged and silly to fit in with every other "reality" TV show but we still watch it.

Buck and Duck Commander are hunting shows for the most part but they are the same silly people.

Duck Commander (the show) is the family duck hunting, including Phil, Si, Willie, Jase, Jep, and little seen brother with no beard, Alan Robertson (he's the preacher in West Monroe at the church they attend on Duck Dynasty, John Godwin, and Justin Martin. It's a lot of duck hunting and Si telling stupid stories.

Buck Commander (the show) is just Willie, some MLB guys, Ryan Langerhans (Angels), Adam LaRoche (Nationals), Tombo Martin (retired-Mets), and two country singers, Luke Bryan and Jason Aldean. They hunt all over the place, including LaRoche's ranch in Kansas, a few spots in Texas including Chipper Jones'(former member of Buck Commander) ranch, and Louisiana as well as the rest of the country. There's a lot of goofing around on the show, but also some good hunting.

That would be Phil. Apparently was slated ahead of Terry Bradshaw on LA Tech's depth chart until he quit. Crazy, but hard to not find it a little awesome.
