Saw it for my wife's birthday (her idea. This was my childhood play thing. So I was obviously ok with the movie date night). I absolutely loved it. I might also be based too. I grew up with three things. Star wars action fleet ships, G I Joes, and TMNT. My 3 year old son now LOVES the classic tmnt cartoons and movies. (His favorite is Donnie while dad's is raph.) I dug the movie. My negatives were lack of character building and O'Neil. Fox just didn't do it for me. I'll see it again. Plus own it. That is all...

Pretty good movie, does lack of a lot of story developing but overall entertaining. I hated how Donatello sounded like a chick.

I can't agree on that at all.
TMNT was one of the biggest pieces of shit I've ever seen, and I usually like pointless action and cgi special effects.
This movie was bad even on those parts.
I'm ashamed my hard drive had to bare the burden of downloading and streaming this filth.
Shredder wasn't even the big bad guy, he was just someone for the turtles to fight. He was more of a secondary character until fights happened.

This thing was as awful as I thought it would be. The original movie was far superior in just about any way you could possibly measure. I will give them some credit for the 18 wheeler down the side of the mountain sequence, that was pretty badass, regardless of its utter ridiculousness(this was a movie about ninja turtles after all). How they keep getting halfway decent actors to star in these abortions is beyond me.
