Revenge Movies

Guys, give me some ideas. The revenge movie has always been one of my favorite genres in its simplicity, but I'm drawing a near blank trying to think of any. All I'm coming up with is Kill Bill, Desperado, and The Punisher. Maybe to a degree, Sin City. Let's hear your favorites.

Irreversible is an incredibly well-made revenge film. Don't watch it drunk or you'll get nauseated with the opening scenes. There's a horrific rape in it about mid-way through that I fast forward through now, but probably needs to be watched entirely the first time.

Thriller is a good one, and one that Tarantino got the idea of Kill Bill from.

None others come to mind right now -- maybe The Proposition. I'll look through my collection sometime this weekend.

I've seen it twice. Saw it the second time because I thought it was weak the first time around. Sure didn't think it was the second time! Maybe I watched an edited version the first time 'round. I have no desire to see it again. Same with Last House on the Left.
