  • End of the society / wasteland movies?

I've always had a special place in my heart for movies about the cities abandoned/end of society... 28 days later, i am legend, road warrior, etc... Anyone have some good recommendations? I'd like to find some more.

Book of Eli was decent. I've probably got a few more in my collection, I'll take a look later.

Old school one- Omega Man (I think 'I am Legend' was a close remake of the Charlton Heston classic)

                    The Blood of Heroes
                    Lord of the Flies

This site has a bunch listed though most I have never heard of. Should be able to find some pretty good lesser-known stuff.

I Am Legend was the Novella that Omega Man and its sequels were made from. The new I Am Legend was just another schlocky Will Smith Vehicle.

I Am Legend was a book, then made into a movie a few times (Omega Man was based on it). The book was awesome, neither the Will Smith Legend nor Omega Man came close.
