UK Launch was last weekend, appears quite a few people have mixed reviews on it. Looks like it might be a little disappointing, but also it could just be bitter ridley scott clingers wishing it was the best movie ever. I think people expected this movie to follow in the footsteps of the Alien franchise. Ridley Scott has said it is more about the essence of what Alien was and about questions left unanswered. Just got back from seeing it. Definitely the best sci-fi movie I've seen in a while. The 3D was also done very well. No shit flying at the camera. Just gave the setting a lot of depth. I enjoyed it, my wife who has never seen an alien movie hated it (waste of 10 bucks). Gives some answers but also leaves some questions. Has some pretty gross scenes, sci-fi nerds will love it.De Oppresso Liber.Comment

Just watched in Imax 3d. It looked awesome. Very quality flick, I don't understand all the nerd whining. It was excellent. The atmosphere and mood of aliens is pungent throughout the movie, something Ridley Scott reminds us of again.
