Carla Jean Moss: What'd you give for that thing?
Llewelyn Moss: You don't need to know everything, Carla Jean.
Carla Jean Moss: I need to know that.

    Llewelyn Moss: Keep it up.
Carla Jean Moss: Fine. I don't wanna' know. I don't even wanna' know where you been all day.
    Llewelyn Moss: That'll work.
Hard to believe that the actress that played Carla Jean is Scottish. She puts on one hell of a West Texas drawl.

I knew there was something about her that was hot, and couldn't put my finger on it. I thought it was just the implied trailer trash promiscuity.

I liked Ladykillers and haven't seen a bad Coen Brothers flick. Has anybody seen Nobody's Baby? It was one I missed from 2001

Cormac McCarthy wrote it. He also wrote The Road which got him a Pulitzer prize before it was adapted into a movie.

No, but what does that have to do with the Coen brothers? And FYI, Intolerable Cruelty sucked.

The Coen brothers have had several stinkers, The Man Who Wasn't There, A Serious Man come to mind, and if I was looking at a list I could point out several others. However when they get it right, they get it RIGHT.

Sorry Netflix said it was Coen Brothers flick so I had added to my que. A quick check of IMDB has no mention of Coen Brothers involvement.

Never saw Intolerable Cruelty-Catherine Zeta annoys me for some reason so I passed on that alone

I've had this downloaded on my computer for a while now and finally watched it yesterday. Pretty good flick. I'll have to watch it again just to catch any parts I might have missed.

Read on this thread earlier that the author of the book wrote The Road, I've watched that before but it's been a while and need to give it another go around.

The Coen brothers cast a film better than anyone, and this is easily one of their best efforts in that regard. In my opinion, it's the best casting they've ever done.

Burn After Reading and Raising Arizona were pretty spot on, too. The Hudsucker Proxy had a great cast, too. Have you seen Inside Llewyn Davis yet?

I was just watching this the other night, comparing it to The Counselor. This is definitely superior, but I still like TC despite everyone else seeming to hate it.
