Actually, that's probably about perfect. It's a 3-4 hour drive, that would put us there in time for some decent dinner at The Hula Hut.

Always wanted to see these guys live. Playing at La Zona, tickets are only $30. Only thing that sucks is it's standing room only.

Ended up being $40 after all the surcharges. Assholes.

We're going to stay at Matts house. Brent and Mel will be down there but aren't going to the concert. I posted a thing on FB this morning and we've been coordinating.

Their website won't take my card, even after I called to verify with my bank that the info they're stating is wrong was correct, that site sucks!

That was a badass show. The original guys from the Stray Cats came out and played too; it was fucking great. Lots of long guitar solos, each song seemed stretched out to ten minutes. Drive Like Lightning, Ignition, Stray Cat Strut and Rock This Town all sounded fantastic live, and the venue was TINY. We were only about 50 feet from the front of the stage, and could have gotten closer if I'd really tried. Can finally mark that off my bucket list.
