    Just finished watching it. Anyone remember this movie?? I remember seeing it when I was little.

                    Spielberg's first feature film + Richard Matheson script. Post Hays Code Cinema at it's best.

                    It's an awesome movie. I have the DVD collectors edition. Got it as a quadruple pack deal with THX1138 Director's edition (George Lucas first film). Along with the two best road/car trip existentialist movies ever made, of course, being Two Lane Blacktop (1971) and Vanishing Point (1971).

                    You're missing out on some good stuff. And I mean movies that rely on Avante-garde directors, casting, intriguing plot points, and suspense/action sequences that doesn't have to use CGI to augment or provide the substance of the film. Before the current culture of modern Hollywood recycling of old good movies and stylizing them in ridiculously overproduced fashion to make a buck. Because they are fresh out of ideas. As why all the blockbusters of the 70s/80s are being remade as fast as they can crank them out of their CGI cookie cutters.
