I guess this movie stayed under the radar because I saw a preview for it today that it's about to come out on DVD and since I had the day off, I decided to go ahead and watch it.
Real quick, it's about a recovering alcoholic who loses his job and his wife the same day. He comes home to find all of his shit out on the lawn, and no way to get into his house. He spends the next few days just sitting out in the front yard drinking his life away and there are some pretty funny things that happen. Makes friends with a couple of neighbors, sees some shit he probably shouldn't have seen, blah blah blah. Anyways, definitely worth checking out if you liked Stranger Than Fiction. It's not a slapstick comedy by any means, but it's still got it's funny parts. I'd give it a 7.5/10 when it comes to killing time.
