Best quality MP3 downloads

After investing into some car audio I figure I need to move away from my freebie downloads.

I can tell the quality isn't great on a lot of songs.

Is 320 the highest bit rate I can get?

Where do you get your music? I'd probably rather use a subscription service, but I guess pay per song/album is alright too.

Most pay sites are only gonna have things in 128kbps. Cd's are in like 512kbps. I try to look for 256+ and it's really hard to tell a difference between cd and that.

To answer your original question though, I get my music from various places. Bit-torrent being one of them.

320 is the highest bitrate for MP3s. Not sure what sites offer downloads in 320 though. FLAC is CD quality, but not many car players (if any?) support it. Mainly for the same reason most MP3s are in 128: Not many people give a shit about the sound.

Hmm, in looking around I found a site called 7digital.

Most everything i've clicked on is 320k and a few 256k.

Might give them a shot since they have songs for less than a buck.

F that, I bought em all in albums. Some of their albums are only 5 bucks, even new stuff. Cool site.

I'm going to be thinking of some more music and seeing if you have it!
