Anyone else going? Guess I need to finally see these guys live. No telling if they'll break up again, or when or if they'll ever have another tour.

Considering they are recording another album, I would think that they would tour again. And no, I'm not going.

Looks like they've been back together (with Cornell) for over a year now. News to me. This could be pretty cool.

I saw them back in 96 at Lollapalooza(sp?) when they headlined with Metallica. I thought they put on a hell of a show. Then they broke up shortly thereafter.

I'm going. Saw them in 90 or 91 with Voi Vod and The Big F in some small club in Dallas (bomb factory?, venue? IDK). I have a few of their CD's autographed because they used to stay at Embassy suites and my roommate was the hotel mgr. I even got to hold up Cornell when he dove off the stage to the small pit.

Look here, asshole, it was 5:30 in the am and I was about to head out to work when an ad played on the radio. The only reason I even started this thread is I always end up missing concerts because I forget about them. Come at me, bro!!

Just found out that Mastodon will be playing with them. This show could potentially be phenomenal. I'm going to be working twelve hour days that week, but I don't know that this can be passed up. Tickets are supposed to go on sale Friday.

Do it. If we're both going, just one of us should buy the tickets at once.

They aren't all that spectacular live, Jimbo. Better suited for small clubs when there is so much noise going on inside of a packed space that you cannot tell how horrible Brent's vocals are.

I just checked Verizon's website and they are listing ticket prices at $69.50. That's fucking ridiculous.

Last time I saw them was at HOB with High on Fire and the Metalocalypse guys and it was an incredible show, but like you said, MUCH smaller venue and I paid like $40 a ticket and got an extra two bands out of the deal that I would choose over Soundgarden anyway.

If they come back and play a smaller show, I'm in, but I'm gonna have to be out on this one.
