Read a little stat that made me wish I had a book idea like the Potter series. Was from CNN... gotta be true?

J.K. Rowling makes 1.6 million$ every three days from the Harry Potter franchise.... Books/movies/games/etc

I could believe that... $200m a year, considering this movie made nearly $100m in one fucking night! There're a lot of people getting rich, like Oprah rich.

There were some great scenes in the movie, but the ending seemed very soft to me for as dark as the series had become. Anyone read the books and can compare the book ending to movie?
