The character doesn't care about the money or any type of "happy retirement" any longer. He want to be important and in charge of something. He is going to sell himself to the guys that want to eliminate his product.

The last sentence is possibly poorly phrased on my part. I believe he is going to offer himself or his services to them to get a foot into the door in their program, in order to do what you said. He will try to take control from that point.

Well, the whole premise of the show from season 1 is him evolving in to something completely different from who he was. I mean, at first, he was a straight laced school teacher. Then he was a meth cook who didn't want to hurt anybody. That evolved in to him killing Tuco and other competition. But he never wanted to hurt any children... Then there's the whole thing with poisoning Jesse's chicks kid. I mean, the whole show is about his progression, or regression, I suppose; and him breaking his own rules the further he delves in to it.


I also think his cancer is back, which is affecting his decision making.

I think it's the sting from his Grey Matter buyout, his wife kicking the kids out, etc.. he wants to be in control of something.. said so in last nights episode.

Check this out. I was at the 711 on GLade Road and 121 lastnight getting me a coffee and water and I see this skinny dude who looks super familiar. As Im pouring my joe, he leaves. I walk up to the clerk to pay and he says "thats pretty cool... THat guys on TV" lol I said what, on a commercial... He said no, the show Breaking Bad.

I paused, Looked out the window and say Skinny Pete. SOB! I walk out and say hi and shake his hand. He had a pair of Clark Kent like glasses on "he said hes incognito today, he lives in DFW". Hes shooting a short film in Grapevine then hes moving to Commiefornia since there isnt any work here in DFW. Super cool guy. I apologized for stopping him in the parking lot and that he prolly gets it all the time. He laughs and says "fuck dude, it never happens! People dont know who I am here!" Thought I'd share, love that show. Carry on.
