Thundar the Barbarian still comes on CN....as well as Johnny Quest and a few others. I wish we could get some Thundercats or Tranzor Z or He-Man. I used to fuckin love He-Man cartoons.

LOL at "old school"! I'm thinking Foghorn Leghorn and Bugs Bunny/Roadrunner from the late '60's/early '70's!

            Those are "ancient" school

I like to watch Tom and Jerry if it is on and I want to veg for a bit. Doesn't last long though.

It really is hard to catch those old Looney Tunes cartoons.

Because most of them were politically incorrect or too violent...which made them FUNNY.

I saw that. What channel is "Ion"? I have DirecTv and can't find it. Guess I am satellite-user challenged/impaired.

I am barely old enough to remember how I hated the sing alongs. It came on channel 11 around noonish and had way more commercial time than anything else. I remember one of the commercials for the Jackie Stewart AFX electric race track set which I still have buried in the attic somewhere.

I preferred the Slam Bang theater hour that showed reruns of the Three Stooges every morning before heading off to school. Even now watching those episodes with my children I still catch myself laughing when I catch an imbedded political statement that they could never get away with today in this touchy feely political correct environment.
