  • Excel help needed!

Can anyone make me an Excel, "If/Then" formula for a column, or just the cell in that row, that makes it so it automatically highlights the entire row with either green if yes is entered, or red if no is entered? I'll paypal you $20 if it works.

I figured out how to get away without using it, but I'm pretty sure you can build something in the Conditional Formatting tab. If I can get it figured out, for sure I'll post it. Then you can all send me a nickle when you use it.

Like you mentioned, you can use Conditional Formatting.

Highlight the row you want, click on Conditional Formatting drop down, then new rule.

            -Format only cells that contain
-Then you can change it to Cell Value equal to No
-What I did next was click on Format and change the fill to red
            -Click OK

Then you want to create a new rule for changing Yes to green.
