  • Galaxy S II is on it's way!

My next upgrade is in June and I'm hoping this is out by then. Only smart phone I owned was an iphone4 and that was very short lived due to me needing money. I've jacked around with some friends galaxy S's and they seem pretty neat and the specs on this new phone look awesome.

EDIT:Fuck Celsius. Imma set that shit to Kelvin.

i agree with you that the specs are good and so is the phone but coming from a person that has a Samsung vibrant, Samsung is a pretty horrible company when comes to hardware support. i got the vibrant with android 2.1 and Samsung said there would be a froyo upgrade within 2 months of the phones release. we just got the update 1 month ago. and the vibrant was shipped from Samsung with a broken gps antennae as in doesn't work at all. and they wont do anything about it. even the devs for my phone say its a hardware issue and not a software one like Samsung seems to think. but other than that the phone is great, hopefully you will get good devs on board to get custom roms so you don't have to worry about Samsung crap anyways.

my fear, I think you just got a bad situation overall. I have numerous friends with samsung phones w/ zero problems. Actually, they seem more stable overall then my Droid X. Hell, I am going to switch to a Samsung product when that time comes.

I think the goal is to not have hardware issues to begin with.

Agreed. I had a BeholdII and they didn't support it past 1.6....... Sucks because it was a very nice phone.

News flash, samsung doesn't support their products worth a crap, that's why I will be getting the evo3d instead of the nexus s here in a couple months. Not to mention rooting and roms are so much simpler with htc

I'm not somebody that feels the need to update my phone and get pissed off if verson whatever.who cares comes out after I buy something, so I don't think Samsung not requiring me to download some shitty update every couple of weeks is gonna bother me.

yeah i know, don't get me wrong the vibrant is the best phone ive had hands down and i would keep it if it had a properly working gps. and now since dual core is all the rave along with 3d nows the time for a newer badasser phone lmao.

News flash, I had froyo on my galaxy s like a week after I bought it. And sense looks retarded. Plus the screen looks better. Any other trolling I can do?

I had the Moment until a couple of days ago and never had an issue with it. I wasn't rooted or anything but it was great. I moved up to the EVO but was satisfied with the Moment.

I played with the Epic while at the sprint store and it seemed pretty nice too.
