Does anyone know att's dead pixel policy? I've got two on the HTC inspire I got TODAY and since I've just now had the chance to mess with it, I just noticed them. I guess I'm headed back to ATT tomorrow....

If it's brand new, it's under warranty, take it back.

I got mine yesterday and got it rooted on CM7 already.

Not always. With some places you have to have a X number of pixels dead before they replace it. If I remember right it was like 8-10 for an Iphone.

With LCD monitors you can some times "massage" the pixel and it will come back on.

you got 30 days to take it back for a full refund, no questions asked. Im sure they will swap it out rather than having to do a refund.

14 days? I know Verizon started that policy here recently but I didn't know the rest of the industry was turning homo as well.

They took it back without asking any questions and gave me a new one. But the retard at the counter obviously didn't know what a dead pixel was or a pixel for that matter. Lol.

lol@ massaging pixels. I remember...sadly...trying that once with a Dell LCD back in the day, it did not work and felt oddly like and April Fool's joke. I've read the articles too, but have never known a single person to make it work.

Oddly enough, I don't see that many dead pixels on products any more either. Kind of nice.

oh. i was making sure there wasn't any kind of underlying joke or something.

Luckily, it was less than 5 minutes.(total) When I got the phone originally there was probably about 5 minutes before the guy came over with his little iPad and put us on the waiting list. after that it was maybe 10 minutes before we saw an associate.
