Why won't my pictures show up?

Why won't my pictures show up?

When I go to My Computer and then to My Pictures for some reason they don't show? You can see the file name underneath the blank spot and when I click on it the picture comes up?

WTH did I do?

Click view and make sure thumbnail is "ticked"
