Video Card Recommendations?

I am considering replacing my card and wanna upgrade to a video card that has a huge resolution. I have a 8600gts 512mb right now and when i hook my 32in up to it, it won't let me reduce the size of the resolution. I have talked with Bryan about this before and forgot his recommendations(been so long now) but wanna see what others experienced and recommend themselves. TIA for any info.

This is prolly gonna be your best bang for the buck right now unless you can find a 460 within $10 of this.

What's the difference between a gts and a gtx? TIA

the short of it is the gtx's are more powerful but the 460 isn't significantly more powerful than a 450 , hence the reason I say bang for the buck in budget cards.

What's your budget?
