Is there such a thing to boost the WiFi signal?

I have my router and modem in my little office upstairs, but recently got a Ps3 and want to put it downstairs in the living room but that room has like a wifi dead spot when i try to use the Wii or my phone there.

    Thanks for help

I'll second Cam's suggestion. If that's out of the question, you could get an access point and put it between the router and PS3 to get wireless to it.

Basically, yes. It's a just a "repeater" to give you more distance.
