Linksys router?

Well the recent storm apparently damaged my 10 year old Linksys WRT54G 2.4GHZ router.... that our network operates on here and next door at my Mom's home.

Can anyone offer a suggestion for a replacement...it's gotta be a pretty simple install for me to complete.

do I need the dual band version?

Any tips or suggestions are welcomed.

I have the ac1750 he posted and it covers my whole house and garage without issue

It replaced my net gear nighthawk and I honestly can’t tell a difference

Picked up the TP Link AC1750 per recommendation...

installed yesterday 06/15/21 and still fine tuning the set up a bit. So far... seems to work pretty good.

I appreciate all the comments and ideas.
