I installed the software and got all ready to run it and it wanted $30 to perform the test.

I think I may have worded this wrong. By performance I am wishing to put a load on the hardware and have it rate the equipment.

I remember a long time ago there was a link on DFWS that tested your equipment, rated hardware individually, and then rated as a whole.

I did the performance test on the site and it seemed to mainly provide information on software improvements that could be made, like empty the recycling bin, etc.

Hell, I might have clicked on the wrong one...

edit: Wonder if this would work, http://www.passmark.com/products/pt.htm ?

Click the rankings tab, it'll show you want you're looking for.

                Here's my Phenom 2 X4 rig.

I don't have a rankings tab to click on.

If you're running the Overdrive test, you do have a rankings tab.

Also, Vista/7 users, be sure to run this teat as Admin from IE.

That would be the problem. I was in some other test lol. Can't wait to get off work and go see how the desktop does.

You dled the PC Matic program. It tests the same things as Overdrive, but w/ a subscription it'll fix all found issues.

You want to take the Overdrive test a few posts back.
