Need a laptop

Before I go to fleabay, I thought I'd check here. My high school sophomore needs a laptop. He's doing some Autodesk Maya 3D stuff at school on top of regular Office stuff for homework. Hoping to find him something to get through the next 2 years of high school before equipping him with what will get him through college. Anyone got something they want to part with or a hookup on one? TIA

You can get a solid SSD, I7, 8gb ram Windows 10 Lenovo, Dell, HP, or similar good laptop on Craigslist for under $200 bucks if you spend an hour searching. I bought a pair of identical Lenovo X1 Carbon 2nd gen laptops for $250 last spring...both have core I7, 256gb ssd, 8gb ram, win 10 and work like a champ.
