        Found this on another forum searching

        Try disabling the McAfee network agent service. Run > "msconfig" > Services. I disabled the mcafee network agent and the mcafee firewall core service.


        Did it and now I'm in business- Thanks for all the suggestions!

            That's odd how you're just now getting a problem from the firewall. Must have gotten an update that changed that.

              That happened to me when my McAfee subscription went out and they wanted me to renew. Sneaky asshole-ish bastards. And before you rag on me, I only had it because my laptop came with a year subscription and I was too lazy to change it right away.
