iPhone screen repair

How much they charging to replace a screen nowadays? I finally dropped my 6 plus and it shattered. I'm out here in Plano/Richardson area and I'm getting quotes for over $100. I feel like it shouldnt cost that much? Suggestions?

I tried it with the tiny tools on a hand-me-down iPhone 5 as part of a battery replacement and failed miserably. Obviously not my bag...

I got tired of looking like a hood rat and found a Groupon for $85 at a place called Dr. Fixit inside a Walmart in Plano. Took the guy about 15min and it comes with a 90 day warranty. I YouTubed it and it looked super easy but after reading the reviews on some of the glass, I figured I'd take it to someone else and make it their problem, if they sold me an inferior product. I never needed my phone so bad they last couple of days.
