PC gamers, recommend a game?

Been itching to play a video game lately. Haven't played in a good while. But I got a specific type I'm looking for. I'm looking for that medieval fantasy type. Something where you'd see lots of cande/torchlight, and where you'd spend most (if not all) of the time down in the dungeon. I've done oblivion and skyrim a few years ago, which were great games. But you actually spend a good deal of time on the surface there, so I'm not entirely sure they'd be called "dungeon crawlers".

What I'm envisioning wouldn't be mostly combat. But there would be an equal focus on combat, looting, and lore. With a fair degree of NPC interaction inside the dungeon. I'm looking for something very well balanced in those areas. Also it has to be single player. No mmo

Lastly, I'd want it to be close 3rd person, or first person. So ones like the baldur's gate and diablo wouldn't qualify. Also I've played those lol

Off topic maybe, but I've been itching to do retro-gaming, but with no input lag. I've been working on getting a Raspberry Pi to actually feel like a gaming console instead of having the 6-8 frame input lag which makes games like Ninja Gaiden unplayable.

Darkest dungeon is pretty fun. It's a side scrolling 3rd person dungeon crawler. It is brutal and absolutely unforgiving if you make a mistake.

Yeah I played that one it was fun. But I got something like 2/3 of the way through it, and the game somehow shit itself. My file was corrupted. Not going through it all again lol

Looking for a game where you play like a rogue or a thief. Something where you loot a lot lol. But with some reading and combat. A somewhat relaxing game, like this. I would probably just play this, but its not out till Nov.

Played diablo 3 as soon as it came out. All I can say is, its certainly no diablo 2.

Have you played Thief?

One of the best. Only game that scared my to the point of flinging my mouse. May have been T2 - but was hiding in a closet and one of those fire run robots for whatever reason decided to open the door and ruin my day.

Loved that game. Did not do T3 though, reviews seemed poor.
