Recommendations on a VPN?

There seems to be a ton of vpn services out there. After doing a little reading, it seems that not all VPNs are created equal. So if you use one and would recommend it, I'd like to know the benefits of the vpn service you've chosen to go with. Why do you view it as better than others? Thanks in advance!

I use VPN Unlimited. It's cheap and had good reviews.

I use PIA as well, privateinternetaccess.com. Speeds are good enough to max out my torrent client which is all I care about.

I viewed it as better than others because of the price and because my brother also uses it.
