Surface Pro 3 gone

So my SP3 shit the bed. Left one day came home and it wouldn't wake back up. I've read every trick in the book to reboot it with holding every button combination down to no avail. Is there any possible way to recover my data off of this thing or anywhere I can take it to try, or am I screwed? 😡 Thanks.

If the storage medium isn't soldered to the mobo, you can dock it and pull your data np.

How do I find out if it is or not? And if it is how do I dock it? If it isn't, can a professional still get it if $ is no object.
Basically I'm asking if the data is gone for good? Which this day in age I would assume you can retrieve anything.

Doesn't look like it can be easily done with the SP. Did you not back up, ever?
