You can prestige after you make it through level 50, basically you start all over in the game and play through it again, instead of being level 50 you'll be prestige 1. Each of the prestige levels have different rank icons. When you start over you have no perks, no weapons, and no attachments unlocked. Prestige levels will gain extra slots to save weapon setups.

I was playing the other day and some dude had a lime green colored rifle and was kicking the shit out of everyone. He was shooting people once and killing them. Any idea what that was about or was the some sort of cheat? I've never seen anyone else use a lime green gun.

Never seen a lime green gun, I've seen some green camo paint but that's it.

You'll hit level 50, you'll have a whole bar of XP to go through, once you get through that you have the option to prestige. If you prestige it'll reset everything, you lose your perks, your guns, attachments, and kill streaks you've unlocked. You'll start at level 1 prestige 1, you then have to go from level 1-50 but you'll be prestige level 1. Once you make it to level 50 you'll have the option to prestige again, if you do then you'll be prestige level 2 and start over again at level 1, prestige level 2.

The only thing it gives you is the extra save slots for the weapon loadouts, you'll be able to play a prestige mode in multiplayer, and then you'll get the prestige icon for the appropriate prestige level you are.

So has anyone actually beat the game? Ha I was too busy online and never could get around to playing campaign mode.

Yeah I've played through the campaign and the story is decent, the twist at the end is predictable though.

And yes, First Strike is the first map pack available. 4 new multiplayer maps and 1 new zombie map. However it's not out for PS3 yet.
