Video Card Question

My 3 year old son watches Dino Dan on my computer. When the show is in it's normal size mode it's perfect quality. But when I maximize it to fit the whole screen it somewhat gets blurry. I have a NVidia 8600gts 512mb/hd. My question is what is more likely causing this, video card or the video itself? Does this on youtube too.

Unless the video is strictly a set resolution, it'll be your videocard.

If it's a low res video, it'll do that. If it's high res and you're trying to fill a large screen, it's likely your card.

Its the video. That 8600 has more than enough power to display a movie at high res.

Thanks everyone for the input. Bryan told me to goto youtube and find a hd vid and maximize it to full screen. And it didn't blur out. So that pretty much answered the big question. Thanks again for all the feedback.
