I just started this about a week ago with my daughter. Level 13 and Pinsar is my highest rated pokemon with 514 CP. I want to try the training areas, but I need better pokemon. Where are the good ones at?

Pokestops are pretty much in highly visited places. Think downtown areas, malls, restaurant rows, amusement parks, parks, etc.
