I am learning autoCAD LT and need a hand. I want to be able to re-use a wire over and over. I have been using Visio for years and it's easy to manipulate the wires in a drawing to connect two pieces of AV equipment (i.e. a DVD Player to a receiver via HDMI cable) pretty easily. Obviously a straight A. to B. connection is easy enough, but is there a 'easy' way to do this in CAD? Most of what we do is much more than a DVD player connected to a receiver.

I know I'm not explaining myself very well, but I want to at least get the ball rolling. I have looked for online videos and forums and whatnot, but haven't had much luck finding what I need.

we do drawings similar to this (this isn't one of ours):

I'm not exactly sure what your asking. but I think the spline command is what your looking for as it allows a line with multiple points. You can also use pedit to convert a group of lines into a spline. That should allow you to have a line that has a movable point via a grip

Still working on it, but I think it's a combination of polyline and adding a block at the ends to add the 'connector' at the end of the line.

            Thanks for the guidance.
