I bought a Zeitronix ZT2 with a gauge so I can data log on my stang. Hooked it all up and the gauge works fine. Load all the poop in my laptop and try to view the data. Software loads and it says reading bites but the guages on the laptop don't show shit. I tried uninstalling and re installing and now I can't get the USB to serial adapter software to load. Anyone have a similar set up and use another adapter software or something?

I have the same issues. Most of my old builds have Haltech E6Ks on them and they use a serial cable so I use an ancient 386 computer for tuning because none of the adapters I have tried have worked. My issue may also stem from needing a DOS compatible computer.Last edited by svauto-erotic855; 04-14-2016, 07:44 AM.Magnus, I am your father. Just mail me an uzi if so :-D
If you can get away with a DOS shell, just use a virtual xp machine on your newer laptop. you may have to mount and dismount the USB device manually (since it will likely mount to the physical machine and not the virtual one) but i've used these with a number of products and never really had an issue.Last edited by lowthreeohz; 04-14-2016, 09:27 AM.
