It's designed to mount where the exhaust fan in the top, back corner of the case goes. Realistically, you could put it anywhere in the case that the hoses reach.

That's the only place I'd want to mount it in my case, the top. But my card is at the bottom of a Corsair C70 case. Don't want to mount it to the removable side wall.

Ok so I got the card in, installed it, did a fresh install of Win 7 ultimate for other reasons, then installed drivers for gpu, and other things. Installed the division, set the settings to ultra and..... im not impressed. It just doesn't look very good. What am I doing wrong here?

That's pretty vague. What doesn't look good? What resolution are you running it on? Also, did you completely restart the game after setting everything to Ultra? Some setting don't take effect till the next time the game starts up.

I'm going to take a wild stab in the dark and say he's running it at 1080p. @OP, you won't see a marked increase in how the game runs better with a 980 Ti until you get a 1440p monitor and run it at 1440p.

My GTX 970 runs The Division at max settings on 1080p no problem.

Yes I restarted it. It just looks much more grainy than I had anticipated. It's to the point that I know for sure that I have something going on or not set right. Res is set to 1080

What Ratt said. It'll good at 1080p and run well (high frame rate) but bump that up to 1440 or higher to get the full benefit. You're going to need a 2K or 4K monitor to notice the biggest difference.
