Ps4 user questions for online play

I just got my son a ps4 for Christmas. We attempted to set him up last night but it asks him to verify his email. The catch is this, the email that needs to be verified is an old sbcglobal email of mine that is no longer active. Therefore I have no way of receiving the email to verify it. Any suggestions?

Second question. When I sign up and pay for the on line play feature is he going to be the only one able to play on line or am I and my daughter also gonna be able to play under our usernames?

Pretty sure you do need an email, but not 100% b

As far as Playstation Plus, yes all users of that PS4 will be able to use that.

Update that account with a new email.

It won't allow me to do it because I have to get into that account first and verify it.
