Do you guys know is ps4 will be able to play 4k blurays? I know it will never be able to play 4k games but will it read?

Will standard bluray players read 4k or is there a whole new read system and we all need new players because of HDMI 2.0 or display port?

As long as the output interface can handle the bandwidth it should work. The rest should just be software, albeit I think most gaming consoles have decoder chips instead of using the CPU ( a dedicated asic chip ). I would say its a safe bet if the PS4 has HDCP 2.2 or HDMI 2.0.
